Sneakin’ Out performs at Mock Crest Tavern Friday night , April 11th, followed by Tracey Fordice and the 8-Balls Saturday, April 12th. Both performances begin at 9:00 p.m.

Expect another packed house Friday night before Sneakin’ Out even arrives. With a well-known reputation preceding their talents, fans arrive at least a few hours early. So don’t get left out in the rain, come on in and grab a bite to eat from the menu and see what’s on tap.

Mock Crest Tavern has a new band playing so come on in and help them feel welcome! Edewaard will start your weekend off at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21st.

Edewaard (pronounced ED-ahh-ward) is an indie Rock n’ Roll band from Eugene, Oregon. They play genres including Rock, Classic Rock n’ Roll and Acoustic Rock.

The band was formed by singer-songwriter Matthew Edewaard. Matthew had originally begun with a solo project which then developed into a 5-piece band. The band, officially formed in February, 2013, released their debut EP “Never Take Back” the following month. The CDs sold out within just a few shows!

Although a brand new band, Matthew and rhythm guitar and keyboard player, Jered, hopped in a car and drove 16 hours straight to Costa Mesa to launch their 2013 “Toe in the Water Tour”. They played an acoustic show every day in cities including Burbank, Santa Monica, Pasadena and more in the Los Angeles surrounding suburbs. Not long after they toured in Idaho and then returned to California.

Eventually the band released their second EP “Renominom Junction”.

Join Josiah Payne and Friends Saturday evening at Mock Crest Tavern, February 22nd at 9:00 p.m.

From 2000 to 2007, Josiah,  the lead member of the nationally touring band The Hot Strings, won two nationally known band contests, recorded an album, “Uncharted”, engineered by Brent Truit (The Dixie Chicks) and produced by Pat Flynn (former Newgrass Revival guitarist). He continues playing with various bluegrass, folk and indie groups including Wayward Vessel .

Join Mock Crest Tavern in welcoming Finn Doxie Friday, October 18th, at 9:00 p.m. They bring an alternative sound that features an electric harp.

Finn Doxie has performed since 2011 around the Portland area. Their frequent visits to the Hillsboro venue ‘Primrose & Tumbleweeds’ garnered them a write-up in the March issue of the Washington County Review.

The duet puts their unique twist on modern popular and alternative hits by combining percussive guitar with the Celtic harp. Utilizing their vocal harmonies and foot-percussion allows the audience to have the  big band experience. Their musical styles cover energetic, beat-driven indie-pop and expressive and intimate ballads.

The duet injects their signature style into favorites by bands like The Killers, The Verve, Coldplay, All-American Rejects, Jack White, Imagine Dragons, Blue October, and Snow Patrol.

are bringing down the house with their fantastic blues, swing, jazz, and also features Portland blues  legend Johnnie Ward and Chanteuse Lauren Sheehan. Johnnie, who is a Muddy Award winner, leads the band on tenor saxophone, harmonica, saxcello, and vocals. They feature original music as well as a wide variety of material from Ella Johnson, Howlin’ Wolf, and Thelonious Monk. Catch their performance on youtube.

Sneakin’ Out and Sweet Home

Sneakin’ Out brings good luck to your Friday the 13th. They are once again packin’ the house, so grab your seats and beer before the show starts at 9:00 p.m.

Sneakin’ Out originally met while working on a musical project in Michigan, and after hearing each other at mutual music performances, they decided to form their band. From that point on it was full speed ahead.

The band has also focused on original tunes that showcase the unique sound of the trio.
