Phil  began playing the ukulele during his childhood years, and later picked up the guitar. He grew up in Northern California, and recorded his first album at the age of 15. As the years passed, he toured in Oregon and later relocated to Eugene. He stayed for 15 years before moving to Portland in search of a wider audience and music scene. Not long after, he released three CD’s of original tunes.

The Cascade Blues Association raves about Tracey Fordice and the 8-Balls. They refer to them as a band that delivers rockin’ blues and soulful ballads. This group utilizes a broad range of sounds from Etta James to Bonnie Raitt and Willie Dixon. They also stated the band has amazing creative power for their original songs. This isn’t just another blues band.

And, Mock Crest Tavern isn’t just another tavern. I have to say they have one of the friendliest staff I’ve had the privilege of dealing with. I think most people will agree, great service is the reason you return. MCT not only offers that, but the food is amazing as well. Try the fried pickles with blue cheese! It’s one of the faves.
So, everyone have a great week, and we’ll see ya there!
