Claes Armoth from The Blueprints and Claes and Friends plays Thursday at 8:30 p.m.
Claes offers a rich music history. Originally from Sweden, Claes grew up in the San Francisco Bay area. His first instruments were the piano and later the harmonica. The “underground” FM rock radio influenced him at a young age with Blues music and artists such as BB King, Muddy Waters, and Robert Johnson who stirred his creativity and love for music.
During the 70’s he moved to Oregon, where he grew serious about music. Today, he plays in a number of bands, where he sings lead and harmony vocals; plays the keyboard, and harmonica, as well as writes and records his own music.
Other bands he performs with include:
- The Blueprints
- Claes and Sons
- Reverb Brothers
- The New Iberians
Stay tuned for more great music coming this weekend! So, have a great week, and we’ll see ya there.
