Johnnie Ward & the Eagle Ridin’ Papas bring in the month of April at Mock Crest Tavern. They perform at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2nd. You are sure to enjoy their mix of blues and rock music.
Johnnie, a native of Portland, Oregon has performed with bands including the PH Phactor Jug Band, and opened for Moby Grape, The Grateful Dead, Pentangle, The Doors, and several other famous bands. Johnnie was also part of the movement that resurrected the blues venue in Portland in 1970, and was the first act to play The White Eagle, which was the first post-war Portland Blues club.

Mock Crest Tavern welcomes The Billy Novas. They perform Thursday, April 4th at 8:00 p.m. This duo brings a fresh and fun sound with a combination of country, jazz and blues tunes. The “Billy Novas” will take you on a musical journey of “down home” fun. This award winning songwriting duo also features dual slide guitars, a mandolin and bass.
