Mock Crest Tavern starts your weekend with Suburban Slim bringing down the house Friday night!
Phil began playing the ukulele during his childhood years, and then changed to guitar. He grew up in Northern California, and recorded his first album at the age of 15. As the years passed, he toured in Oregon and later relocated to Eugene. He stayed for 15 years before relocating to Portland in search of a wider audience and music scene. Not long after, he released three CD’s of original tunes.
Suburban Slim is available to hear on YouTube.
Original songs offer vocal harmonies that weave stories of love, heartbreak, and the ups and downs of life. With guitar riffs and mandolin accents, Sweet Home creates a unique sound.
“The process of creating and performing together helps us define who we are. Our mission is to create a common dream through music that reflects the world we want to live in.” says Sweet Home.
Doug Anderson, the music director for the Trout Lake Festival of the Arts, said,
- John Manns – Vocals/Rhythm Guitar
- Glen Allen – Lead Guitar/Mandolin
- Sarah Brooks – Vocals/Percussion
- Marcia Michel – Vocals/Percussion
