Sneakin’ Out returns Friday night, November 2nd, at Mock Crest Tavern. They are one of my favorite local groups, and are well-known for their alternative sound.
Members include: David Gerow on the mandolin, Don Henson on percussion, and Mike Cheddar Schmitt on bass.
They originally met on a musical project in Michigan, and after seeing each other at mutual music performances, and decided to form their band.
Sneakin’ Out opened for famous singers including kd lang, John Jorgenson and Pink Martini. Their CD, Train Wreck, is available to listen to as well as purchase on My Space. Here’s the link for a preview Band.http://www.myspace.com/sneakinout.
It seems that the cold weather has arrived earlier than normal this year. It’s certainly a perfect time for a Hot Toddy to warm you from the inside out. The soup of the day is always a good option as well. Mac Bell recommends the club sandwich, but says, “You can’t go wrong there as far as the food goes.”
As always, there’s never a cover charge, so make your plans to hear Sneakin’ Out on Friday night.
And other awesome news? Greeley Avenue Bar & Grill now has a blog! Hop on over and subscribe for beers on tap, sports, movie night and much more. Click here for the site.
