The Bottleneck Blues Band is bringing down the house on Friday, September 14th at 9 p.m. Members of the band include Noah Bell, Devon Shazier, Seth Zowader, and Dave Cushman. They offer a variety of blues, from Chicago to New Orleans, country to funk.
Each member has an extensive music career, and their experience blends together, bringing their fun and unique sound to their listeners. You can’t stop your toes from tapping to tunes like “All Aboard”. In fact, I’m guessing it will have you out of your seat in no time. The Bottleneck Blues band’s music is full of energy and a fantastic start to the weekend.

To continue the weekend, Saturday, September 15th, join Mock Crest Tavern and hang out with Johnnie Ward’s Sharkskin Revue at 9 p.m.
This band plays the blues, swing, jazz, and features Portland blues legend Johnnie Ward and chanteuse Lauren Sheehan. Johnnie, who is a Muddy Award winner, leads the band on tenor saxophone, harmonica, saxcello, and vocals. They feature original music as well as a wide variety of material from Ella Johnson, Howlin’ Wolf, and Thelonious Monk. Catch their performance on youtube.
